In order to reduce the environmental pressures, we designed the biO. This domestic trash bin is able to transform all the kitchen waste, fruit and vegetable, into environmentally friendly non-plastic garbage bags and degradable particles. All the resources are fully utilized. BiO extracts water, pectin and plant fibre from fruit and vegetable as raw material to produce the bags. And other leftover food will go through steps of drying and grinding. They could be stored for a longer time and will be automatically packed into the bag created from vegetables and fruit. BiO not only reduces the times of taking out the trash, but also prevent further generation of CO2 during the transportation process.
